Neyveli Lignite eyes 200MW of wind portfolio

Neyveli Lignite is planning to expand its earlier announced 50MW wind power project in Tamil Nadu to 200MW. NLC intends to set up the wind farm in the Tuticorin and Kanyakumari region and use the power generated for captive consumption. The firm is also exploring solar and hydro sectors.
